Swedish metal band AGRIMONIA will arrive to Helsinki this week. The concert will take place on Saturday October 3rd in Helsinki at Ääniwalli.
AGRIMONIA was formed in 2005, the band released its self-titled demo in 2008 before releasing its first full-length, Host of the Winged, in 2010. Their second full-length album, Rites of Separation, was released in 2013. And their third full-length, Awaken, was released in 2018.
Blending sludge, crust, post-metal, and dark melodic heaviness, they have built a sound that feels both massive and deeply human: long songs, heavy atmosphere, and a sense of tension that comes as much from punk urgency as it does from metal weight.
AGRIMONIA are Björn on drums, Christina on vocals and keyboard, Magnus on guitar, Martin on bass, and Pontus on guitar and keyboard.
The opening acts for the evening will be Finnish bands KÜRØSHI and VIVISEKTIO.
