Gary Numan in two weeks in Helsinki
English synth-pop/new wave icon GARY NUMAN will offer one and only concert in two weeks in Helsinki. The concert will take place at The Circus on December 5th as a part of his The 2nd Savage 2018 European Tour. The singer, songwriter, composer and record producer released last year his 18th studio album “Savage (Songs from a Broken World)” via BMG/The End. GARY NUMAN is considered a pioneer of commercial electronic music, and his signature sound consists of heavy synthesiser hooks fed through guitar effects pedals. He achieved his peak of mainstream popularity in the late 1970s and early 1980s with the No. 1 singles «Are ‘Friends’ Electric?» and «Cars», but maintains a cult following. In 2017 he received an Ivor Novello Award, the Inspiration Award, from the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers, and Authors. American alternative art rock band NIGHTMARE AIR will be the special guest for the evening.
