A Place to Bury Strangers returning to Finland in 2025
American rock noise trio A PLACE TO BURY STRANGERS will return to Finland next year as a part of their new Synthesizer Tour 2025. The concert will take place on April 24th in Helsinki at Kuudes Linja.
A PLACE TO BURY STRANGERS was formed in New York City in 2002. Commonly known by the initials APTBS, the band plays a heavy, atmospheric wall of sound–influenced blend of noise rock, shoegaze and space rock. The band has released seven studio albums, their latest album «Synthesizer» was released this October via Dedstrange. The trio is known for the loudness of their intense live shows. A PLACE TO BURY STRANGERS are commonly referred to by music writers as the «loudest band in New York«, a reputation the band developed even before the release of their first album.
The trio currently consist of Oliver Ackermann on guitar and vocals, John Fedowitz on bass and Sandra Fedowitz on drums. American new wave/synthpop solo project MADELINE GOLDSTEIN will be the opening act for the evening.
