GUTTERMOUTH: CANCELAN SU GIRA EUROPEA
Tal como hemos sabido a través de la promotora B-Trade Tourbooking, los californianos GUTTERMOUTH han cancelado toda su gira europea, que les iba a traer por la península en el mes de Agosto. Ya es la segunda vez que lo hacen y esperemos que no haya una tercera, puesto que dicha promotora va a tratar de volver a traerlos. El motivo es el económico, básicamente.
Sin duda una decepción para los fans que se iban a acercar a verlos y para la promtora.
La nota que ha lanzado el grupo ha sido la siguiente:

We are very disappointed to announce our Europe tour is CANCELLED. Here is a short version of what went wrong, as we feel the fans should know. We made an agreement with a booking agency, which, books tours in Europe and felt confident in finally making this happen. According to the agency, the promoters who booked Guttermouth would turn in deposits by a certain date to hold the shows and the agency would book our airfare with that money, which is standard practice. The deposits did not come in by the expected time, so we extended about 3 weeks longer hoping the money would get in, which did not happen. These deposits were the “backbone” of making the entire tour happen as it pays airfare along with other initial expenses. We are now less then 3 weeks from the start and only received about 10 percent of the amount needed for flights so we had no other choice.
We will continue to work to find a way back in the future but are very discouraged that this same scenario has happened multiple times in Europe. We are very frustrated as we tour the US, Canada, Asia, Japan and Australia and never have this type of problem. We spent several months and many hours working hands on with the booking agent to make the tour happen so we want to thank her for her efforts along with anyone else who helped in the process.
