Houkago Grind Time, Myxoma and Tunkio in two weeks in Helsinki

HOUKAGO GRIND TIME, MYXOMA and TUNKIO will play in two weeks in Helsinki. The concert will take place on May 26th in Helsinki at On The Rocks.

HOUKAGO GRIND TIME is a San Jose-based solo anime-themed goregrind/mincecore project formed in 2019 by multi-instrumentalist Andrew Lee (RIPPED TO SHREDS). It blends intense, high-speed grindcore with lighthearted anime (moe/otaku) samples and humor, often described as «wholesome cute anime goregrind». The project, whose name parodies K-On!, has released three full-length albums: «Bakyunsified (Moe to the Gore)», «The Second Raid», and «Koncertos of Kawaiiness».

MYXOMA is a goregrind band based in Taipei, Taiwan, that has been active since the mid-2010s, known for its intense, chaotic style of underground music, and sometimes blending anime themes with goregrind.

The opening act for the evening will be Finnish grind core band TUNKIO.
