Meshuggah this August in Finland

Swedish extreme metal legends MESHUGGAH will return to Finland this August with their Immutable Tour 2023. The concert will be at the venue Kulttuuritalo (Helsinki) on August 18th. The band has released nine studio albums and their latest was «Immutable» via Atomic Fire Records in 2022. The quintet has become known for their innovative musical style and their complex, polymetered song structures and polyrhythms. They rose to fame as a significant act in extreme underground music, became an influence for modern metal bands, and gained a cult following. MESHUGGAH was labelled as one of the ten most important hard rock and heavy metal bands by Rolling Stone and as the most important band in metal by Alternative Press. In the late 2000s, the band was an inspiration for the djent sub-genre. The Swedish melodic death metal group THE HALO EFFECT will be the opening act for the evening.
