Left to Die and Incantation in 3 weeks in Helsinki

American death metal tribute band LEFT TO DIE and American death metal masters INCANTATION will play in Helsinki in 3 weeks with their new European Tour 2024. The concert will be at the venue On The Rocks (Helsinki) on August 26th . LEFT TO DIE pays tribute to the immortal DEATH of Chuck Schuldiner, focusing on the early DEATH era and plays the entire «Leprosy» album and songs from «Scream Bloody Gore». The band features former members, namely bassist Terry Butler (OBITUARY, ex-MASSACRE) and Rick Rozz (ex-MASSACRE), who have teamed up with GRUESOME‘s founders: vocalist and guitarist Matt Harvey (EXHUMED, ex-REPULSION, ex-DEATH DTA (live)) and drummer Gus Ríos (ex-MALEVOLENT CREATION).

INCANTATION was formed by John McEntee and Paul Ledney in 1989. They are considered leaders in the New York City death metal scene along with SUFFOCATION, MORTICIAN and IMMOLATION. INCANTATION‘s lyrical content frequently draws on anti-Christian, Satanic, and occult themes. Musically, the band is known for combining widely varied tempos into their music, often employing slow and down-tuned passages, similar to the death-doom style of bands like AUTOPSY. INCANATATION released last year «Unholy Deification» via Relapse Records.
