Blues Pills next week in Helsinki

Swedish rock band BLUES PILLS will play in Helsinki next week with their new Happy F*cking Birthday Tour. The concert will be at the venue Tavastia on November 1st. BLUES PILLS was formed in the Midwest in late 2011 by the band’s songwriters Zack Anderson and Elin Larsson. The band has released four studio albums, two EPs, three live albums and five singles since its formation. Their latest studio album, «Birthday», was released this past August through BMG. BLUES PILLS‘ vamp-heavy sound weds 21st century Neo-psychedelia, metallic blues, retro soul, rhythm and blues and hard rock. The group features Larsson (vocals), Anderson (guitar), Kristoffer Schander (bass) and André Kvarnström (drums). Canadian rock band DANIEL ROMANO’S OUTFIT will be the opening act for the evening.
