DEATH ANGEL publican el 2 de octubre, a través de Nuclear Blast, un box set con cuatro cds denominado «The Enigma Years 1987-1990». Pre-venta aquí.

Provenientes del Thrash Metal de la Bahía de San Francisco que nos dio METALLICA, EXODUS y TESTAMENT, DEATH ANGEL se formó originalmente en 1982 por el guitarrista principal Rob Cavestany con los primos Dennis Pepa (bajo), Gus Pepa (guitarra) y Andy Galeon (batería), a los que se unió el cantante Mark Osegueda. Su demo de 1983, «Heavy Metal Insanity», demostró la influencia del movimiento NWOBHM, con bandas como IRON MAIDEN y TYGERS OF PAN TANG, común con muchos de sus colegas estadounidenses de Thrash Metal.
