Public Image Ltd this October in Finland

English post-punk legends PUBLIC IMAGE LTD (PIL) will return after many years to Finland this October. The concert will be at the venue Ääniwalli (Helsinki) on October 13th. The band was formed by lead vocalist John Lydon (previously known as the lead vocalist of SEX PISTOLS), guitarist Keith Levene (one of the original members of THE CLASH), bassist Jah Wobble, and drummer Jim Walker in 1978. The group’s line-up has changed frequently over the years; Lydon has been the sole constant member. Their sound is a mix of post-punk, dub, avant-garde, new wave, noise and experimental rock. PiL has released ten studio albums and their newest «End of the World» will be released this August via PiL Official. Finnish-Swedish borgarcore band BOB MALMSTRÖM will be the opening act for the evening.
