Xysma next week in Helsinki

Finnish rock legends XYSMA will play in Helsinki next week. The concert will be at the venue Tavastia (Helsinki) on January 12th. The band has released six studio albums and their latest was «No Place Like Alone» via Svart Records last year (first album in 25 years). XYSMA was founded in 1988 in Naantali, they split up in 1998, but reunited in 2006 for a memorial gig and reunited again in 2011. The band in the beginning played grindcore and death metal, but continued to evolve their sound into other music styles such as death’n’roll, garage rock, pop rock, stoner rock and hard rock. Finnish garage rock band SWEATMASTER will be the opening act for the evening.
