Eyehategod and The Obsessed next week with two concerts in Helsinki

American sludge metal masters EYEHATEGOD and American doom metal/stoner rock legends THE OBSESSED will play next week in Helsinki with their new European Fall Tour 2023 (celebrating the 30th anniversary of the album «Take As Needed for Pain»). The concerts will be at the venue Kuudes Linja (Helsinki) on October 15th and 16th. EYEHATEGOD was formed in 1988, they have become one of the better known bands to emerge from the NOLA metal scene. Their core lineup has remained consistent since the band’s inception, with the exception of the bassist (the role of which has been filled by several musicians over the years), until the death of drummer Joey LaCaze in 2013. The band has released seven studio albums. THE OBSESSED was formed in 1980, led by Scott «Wino» Weinrich. The band combines elements of doom metal, stoner rock, and punk rock. In April 2017, the band released «Sacred» via Relapse Records, their first studio album in 23 years. Their next album, «Gilded Sorrow», is due for release on February 16, 2024 via Ripple Music.
