Green Lung and Unto Others coming in 2025 to Finland
British stoner/doom band GREEN LUNG and American gothic rock/heavy metal band UNTO OTHERS will come to Finland next year with their new Heathen Neverlands Tour 2025. The concerts will be at the venues Olympia (Tampere) on February 10th and Korjaamo (Helsinki) on February 11th. GREEN LUNG was formed in 2017 in London, they have released three studio albums. Their latest “This Heathen Land” was released in 2023 via Nuclear Blast Records. The band’s musical style has been described as drawing heavily from British classic rock and early heavy metal, with QUEEN, DEEP PURPLE and especially BLACK SABBATH‘s 1970s material cited as audible influences by reviewers. GREEN LUNG‘s lyrical and visual theming are influenced by 1960s and 70s folk horror films and also by British folklore such as the Green Man and the Pendle witches. The band features Tom Templar on vocals, Joseph Ghast on bass, Scott Black on guitars, John Wright on organ, and Matt Wiseman on drums.
UNTO OTHERS was formed 2017 as IDLE HANDS but changed their name in 2020. The band has released two studio albums. Their newest record «Never, Neverland» will be release on September 20th via Century Media Records. Inspired by early goth adopters like SISTERS OF MERCY, THE CURE, and HÉROES DEL SILENCIO and heavy metal legends like IRON MAIDEN, the band combines gothic rock, metal and post punk in their art and music. This potent mix is apparent in their intricate melodies, powerful riffs, and atmospheric soundscapes that evoke the emotional depth of their lyrical themes. Frontman Gabriel Franco describes his texts as a mixture of fact and fiction and describes himself as a storyteller. He is fascinated by extremes such as war, drug addiction, suicide and murder. Their lineup consists of Gabriel Franco on vocals and rhythm guitar, Colin Vranizan on drums, Sebastian Silva on lead guitar and Brandon Hill on bass.
American doom/stoner rock group SANTAN’S SATYRS will be the special guest for both evenings. These concerts are part of TuskaLive / Finnish Metal Events Oy – concert series – in cooperation with Grey Beard Concerts & Management.
