Return of the Cheap Shots: Millencolin, No Fun At All y Satanic Surfers this September in Helsinki
Swedish punks bands MILLENCOLIN, NO FUN AT ALL and SATANIC SURFERS will come to Finland this September with their tour Return Of the Cheap Shots. The concert will be at the venue Kaapelitehdas on September 21st. MILLENCOLIN was formed on 1992 by Nicola Šarčević, Mathias Färm and Erik Ohlsson in Örebro, Sweden. The band has released ninth studio albums, their latest one “SOS” was released in 2019 via Epitaph Records. MILLENCOLIN helped drawn overseas attention to other Swedish bands, paving the way for everyone from REFUSED to RAISED FIST, THE HIVES and THE (INTERNATIONAL) NOISE CONSPIRACY.
NO FUN AT ALL was formed on 1991 in Skinnskatteberg. The group consist of Mikaell Danielsson (vocals), Ingemar Jansson (guitars), Fredik Eriksson (guitars), Stefan Bratt (bass) and Kjell Ramstedt (drums). The band has released seventh studio albums, their latest one “Seventh Wave” was released in 2022 via SBAM. Their name was inspired by a tongue-in-cheek version of THE STOOGES song “No Fun” as covered by the SEX PISTOLS, and the name of the band SICK OF IT ALL.
SATANIC SURFERS was formed in 1989 by vocalist Erik Kronwall and drummer Rodrigo Alfaro. Soon after, Frederik Jakobsen and Magnus Blixtberg joined on guitar, while Tomek Sokolowski took on bass duties. The band has released seventh studio albums, their latest one “Back from Hell” was released in 2018 via Mondo Macabre Records.
